DOG GONE ART by Monika Brauer

Anloch Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers

Bred for good health and temperament

Dogs have always been a big part of my life.  I have owned Wheaten terriers for almost 25 years and spent many years breeding and showing these wonderful dogs.  My Wheatens have influenced me to become a professional dog groomer and artist.  For the past 20 years I have owned and operated a dog grooming business here in Owen Sound.

After taking a break from breeding and showing Wheatens  I was given the opportunity to own and show some exceptional champion dogs from Springmoor kennels. I have health-tested my new additions and am pleased to know that all have a clean bill of health.  Breeding for good health and a loving, carefree, happy temperament is my highest priority.

I share my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier  program with Cathy Wesley of Honeywheat kennel. We work closely together to make sure that we only procuce happy and healthy puppies.

We test the DNA of all of our breeding dogs to ensure that they do not carry the gene for protein-losing nephropathy (PLN).  We are making every effort to produce healthy, happy puppies.  We welcome any inquiries and visits.
